Join us for the 11th Windsor Community Art Show, at the Art and Heritage Center, from September 5th through November 9th. This year’s theme is UPLIFT and the work centers around the artists interpretation of that word. The show features over thirty visual artists, twenty poets and two digital artists. This showcase of local artists is one of the best yet and features artists from professionals to elementary students. The walls of the Art and Heritage Center will be adorned with paintings, photographs, wood cut outs, prints, sculptures and poetry.
There will be two receptions for this exhibition that will be worth attending. The first reception is on September 5th from 5-8pm. We will have live music by Astral Echoes and Orobeat, along with visual arts awards, artist talks, and food and drink. The second reception will be on October 3rd from 5-8pm. This evening will be centered around poetry and will be hosted by the Lip Chicken Podcast. They will be doing a live podcast featuring poetry awards, reading and live music. Both nights will be stand-alone events that celebrate the arts in Windsor. Come to one, come to both, bring a friend and meet the artists.
