Town of Windsor Museums is proud to announce the installation of seven new outdoor sculptures located on the west side of Windsor Lake along the Dr. Tom Jones Trail, 100 N. 5th St.
These installations are part of the Sculpture on Loan (SoL) of Windsor program, a community initiative that brings rotating public art to Windsor while supporting local artists.
The sculptures, on temporary loan from local artists, were installed on Monday, Aug. 25, and Tuesday, Aug. 26. Each piece is available for purchase, with most proceeds going directly to the artists.
Community members are invited to join the Windsor Arts Commission on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 9 to 11 a.m., to tour the newly installed sculptures. Community members will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite sculpture. The winning artist will receive the “Best in SoL” prize, based on votes.

Artists interested in participating in future Sculpture on Loan seasons are encouraged to apply during the annual open call period, typically held from April through early June.
