The Town of Windsor is excited to host the annual Windsor Volunteer Fair, set to take place on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Boardwalk Community Park Pavillion, located at 100 N. 5th St.
This free, family-friendly event invites residents and visitors to explore numerous volunteer opportunities with the Town of Windsor and local nonprofit organizations. There is no registration required, and all are welcome to attend.
The Volunteer Fair offers a unique chance for attendees to meet with representatives from a variety of organizations to learn more about the impactful ways that they can contribute to the community. Community members will also have the chance to meet with local organizations, ask questions and sign up to volunteer.
“We’re so excited to be hosting yet another Volunteer Fair this spring,” Volunteer Coordinator Madeline Cheek said. “This event is a great way for community members to connect with local organizations, give back and be part of making Windsor a great community in which to live. Plus, visitors can enjoy a snack from a local food truck while enjoying the beautiful spring weather.”
The Windsor Volunteer Experience aims and is committed to inspiring residents to be more active, engaged and invested within their community through community service. With various opportunities, there is something for everyone!
In the event of inclement weather, the fair will be rescheduled for Saturday, May 3, at the same time and location.
