[ARCHIVED] Public Art Adventure Backpack

Color photograph of a rainbow backpack surrounded by books, markers, and colored pencils.

Grace Burton, Museum Intern

The Public Art Adventure Backpack has been what I have been working on as my summer intern project at the Windsor Museum. This backpack is something that will be available to be checked out from the Clearview Library and has been made to help the user explore Windsor's public art! A lot of people don’t know we have quite a few works spread out all around town, and they are worth seeing! This backpack I have been creating will not only show you where the art is located, but will also show you how to interact with and closely observe the art around Windsor! It will include fun activities and educational tips about the works, with ways you can also create and be inspired by the works artists have made. These activities include scavenger hunts, I-Spy games, board games, and creative ways to make your own art!

This has been such a fun and educational experience for me, and I hope to spark the same joy of art I had while making this backpack in you too as you explore and learn about Windsor’s public art!
