WINDSOR, Colo. - The Town of Windsor Arts Commission announces its 2023 Art LIVE! event schedule that allows residents to watch professional artists create artwork during some of Windsor’s biggest events.
Windsor residents are invited to attend and meet local professional artists, watch their creative process live, and learn more about community art plans in Windsor. These events will vary in location and time each month. Attendees will have the chance to receive exclusive ART LIVE! swag such as magnets, water bottles, and sunglasses, while supplies last.
The first event will happen during the Easter Eggstravaganza event at the Community Recreation Center, 250 N 11th St., on Friday, April 7, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Artist Laura Grossett will be showcasing a printmaking demonstration and presenting the acrylic paint mural she painted inside the recreation center lobby.
Additional dates, locations, and details for Art LIVE! include:
- A Community Art Project will be held at Eastman Park Skate Park, 31700 Eastman Park Dr., on Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Young at Art Family Opening Party on Saturday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Art & Heritage Center, 116 5th St.
- Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 27, and Thursday, August 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park, 100 N 5th St.
- Harvest Festival on Sunday, Sept. 3 at Main Park, 300 Locust St.
