The Town of Windsor partners with Spokes Bike Shop to host Bike to Work Day, in-person, June 23, 2021, from 6 a.m.to 8 a.m. to promote health and the community’s trail system. “We are excited to safely host this event in-person and promote the town’s connectivity system,” said Wade Willis, manager of Open Space and Trails. “Bike to Work Day is a perfect opportunity to encourage our residents to become familiar with our bike lanes and 40 miles of trails.” This year, Windsor will setup a booth in front of Spokes Bike Shop for cyclists to stop by for complimentary snacks, water, and maps of bike and hiking trails. Bike to Work Day has been a tradition in the Town of Windsor for several years. Each year the community sees an increase in participants. In 2019, when the event was last hosted, over 60 people participated.
